Navigating Life’s Challenges with Compassion and Expertise

Life often presents us with significant challenges. Whether you are grappling with anxiety, depression, persistent negative thoughts, unresolved trauma, or the impact of sexual assault and sexual abuse, it's important to recognize that you deserve to live a fulfilling and empowered life. My role as a therapist is to support you in navigating these struggles and finding a path forward.

A Warm, Inclusive, and Goal-Oriented Approach

Therapy can have its ups and downs, but my goal is to ensure that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools for daily life. I use a warm, direct, and goal-oriented approach, integrating evidence-based cognitive and behavioral therapies with body-focused and somatic techniques. My background in crisis intervention for survivors of sexual assault and abuse has shaped my deep commitment to trauma processing and nervous system regulation. This approach not only addresses trauma but also supports overall well-being.

Culturally Competent and Affirming Care

Creating a safe and inclusive therapeutic space is essential. I am dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment that is culturally competent, affirming, and sensitive to the needs of BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and queer individuals. My experience working with people from diverse ethnicities, races, and backgrounds ensures that our sessions will be approached with the utmost respect and understanding. Your unique strengths and experiences will be the cornerstone of our work together.
