We are considered an "out-of-network provider" with most insurance plans. You may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.

How do I begin therapy with Repose?

The first step is to schedule a complimentary consultation with us here. Once you’ve booked your consultation, you will meet with a licensed therapist from our Client Care team who will conduct your clinical intake and assist you in the therapist matching process.

What happens during my initial consultation?

The purpose of the consultation is to understand your reasons for seeking therapy and gather information in the most efficient and sensitive way possible. During your consultation, a member of our Client Care team will listen to you, ask questions, and discuss your options. Based on the information gathered, they will be able to recommend which of our therapists would be well-suited to meet your unique needs.

How long are people usually in therapy?

Therapy is a process that looks different for everyone. While some people are looking for short-term work around a specific problem, others may be looking to heal from deeper wounds. Some clients want a supportive person to help them navigate the ups and downs of their lives without a set time frame. Regardless of the type of support you’re seeking, your therapist and you will discuss treatment goals and collaborate to develop a timeframe to meet those objectives.

What are your rates?

For students using Wellfleet or Aetna Student Health insurance, the cost of therapy is that of a standard copay. For all other clients, our rates begin at $200 per session. If you qualify for out-of-network mental health benefits, your insurance provider may reimburse you anywhere from 50-90% of the cost of therapy. We also offer a limited number of reduced-rate appointments through our clinical training program, which start at $45 per session.

Do you accept insurance?

Repose is in-network with Wellfleet (serving the student bodies at NYU, School of Visual Arts, and Sarah Lawrence College, among others) and Aetna Student Health (serving the student bodies at Columbia, Pratt, and FIT, among others). We are out-of-network providers with all other insurances and offer support to help you get 50-90% reimbursement.
