What we offer
Repose has partnered with New York University and Columbia University and other exceptional institutions to provide quality field-learning instruction for qualified candidates through our one-year advanced clinical training program. This advanced clinical training program is designed to prepare candidates for a successful career in the field of trauma-informed somatic psychotherapy.
Our program typically runs September through April; however, exceptions may be made for the right candidate to join Repose during other times of the year if their program follows a non-traditional practicum schedule. This position is open to advance-standing social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, and creative arts therapy graduate students from top-tier academic institutions. Currently, this is a remote position, as all training and services are provided via a HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After the one-year completion of the Repose advanced clinical training program some of our fellows may be given the opportunity to apply for a staff therapist position which comes with competitive pay, supervision, and benefits.

Who we are
We are deeply committed to equipping our advanced clinical fellows with somatic education by therapeutically integrating embodied healing practices such as yoga, breathwork, and other mind-body techniques. Our practice stresses the use of trauma-informed therapeutic modalities through a client-centered approach. Our philosophy is that there are “many ways in" when treatment is supported by a strong therapeutic alliance, empowerment through psychoeducation, and the somatic tools for self-regulation and conscious relaxation.

About Repose
Repose is an innovative holistic therapy practice founded on the principle that wellness is an embodied healing journey that honors the inseparable connection between mind, body, and spirit. Our mission is to help people tap into their innate wisdom to cultivate resiliency and gain clarity for overcoming challenges and living a more meaningful existence. We empower our clients to understand the language of their physiology and incorporate conscious relaxation techniques to alleviate the somatic symptoms of chronic stress in our bodies that manifest from anxiety, depression, and emotional trauma so that the profound benefits of therapy are experienced more rapidly and with deeper awareness. Repose upholds a philosophy of self-actualized wellness: personal evolution is both a birthright and a responsibility. Therapy sets the conditions for the continuum of healing to occur by holding a safe space that fosters exploration, learning, and empowerment. The therapist's role is to be a guide, teacher, and companion for those who entrust us with their care as they embark upon this journey of self-discovery and expansion.
