“Your happiness and wellbeing matter. In a world that often feels overwhelming, my goal is to support you in cultivating self-understanding, compassion, and resilience.”
Welcome!
Therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted as you are. You are not broken, and you don’t need to be fixed. Repose therapist, Mara Donadio, believes healing begins with recognizing your inherent worth and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been silenced or overlooked. Her goal is to support you in cultivating greater self-understanding, compassion, and resilience—so that you can move through life with more clarity, confidence, and connection.

How Mara Can Support You
I know how powerful it can be to sit with someone who honors your full self—and how much safety and healing can come from being deeply seen and heard. I bring this lens to all my work, with an understanding that our identities, histories, and environments shape how we experience the world and ourselves.
Therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted—just as you are. I don’t believe anyone is broken or needs fixing. I see healing as a process of reconnecting with your inherent worth and exploring the parts of yourself that may have been silenced or overlooked. I aim to support you with warmth and curiosity as you build deeper self-understanding, compassion, and resilience.
Influences: Gabor Maté, Kazuo Ishiguro, Brene Brown, Sue Johnson, Esther Perel
Mara’s Approach
My approach integrates psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) therapies, which means I pay close attention to both the deeper roots of your emotional experience and the practical tools that can help you feel more grounded in the present. I also have a background in grief counseling and a strong interest in helping individuals cope with loss - whether it be the loss of a loved one or the grief that comes with major life transitions or changes in relationships. I see therapy as a collaborative process—one where we work together to explore your story, make meaning of your experiences, and move toward healing and growth.
Rituals: Hiking, morning tea, baking, dancing, sunshine, good music, reading
