“Your own self is your ultimate teacher. The outer teacher is merely a milestone. It is only your inner teacher that will walk with you to the goal, for he is the goal.”

Babette’s Approach
Babette’s teaching blends creative and intentional asana sequences with somatic practices that encourage deep presence and body-led awareness. Her classes emphasize patience, non-judgment, and acceptance, fostering a safe space for students to meet themselves exactly where they are. She believes that our stories live in our tissues—and through mindful movement and nervous system rewiring techniques, the body can begin to release what it no longer needs to carry.

About Babette
Babette is a somatic yoga teacher with a passion for blending mindful movement and nervous system healing. With a background in trauma-informed yoga and body-based therapeutic practices, she brings a warm, grounded presence to her teaching. Babette is especially attuned to the ways our bodies hold lived experience and is committed to creating spaces where students can move at the pace of safety, curiosity, and self-compassion. Through her classes at Repose, Babette supports individuals in cultivating resilience, embodiment, and inner trust—one breath and one movement at a time.
