Support group for Chinese international students

  • Repose New York, NY (map)

This is an 8-week support group for Chinese international students to share their stories and process their feelings about navigating their life in the US. Studying abroad isn’t easy, and everyday nuances can become overwhelming. Oftentimes, we think we are struggling alone but this group will help us connect with people who are in similar situations and support each other to get better. This virtual group will make space for conversations around cultural differences and navigating our own identity. We will also discuss and identify coping strategies and resources that will help participants with their personal stressors (pandemic, cultural shock, identity issues, academic pressure, relationship issues, navigating US higher education system, etc).

Investment: $65/session

Investment: $65/session self-pay OR we also work directly with colleges and universities throughout the five boroughs and are preferred, in-network providers for Sarah Lawrence, School of Visual Arts, New York University and Columbia University.
