Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

This is an 8-week course running on Wednesdays from March 10th-April 28th 5:30-6:45 PM (the first session will be 90 minutes). Each week you will learn new mindfulness practices, have time to ask questions and share your progress with the group, and have worksheets and recorded guided meditations to help guide you in the days between class. Examples of mindfulness exercises include eating meditation, body scan meditation, mindful breathing, mindful movement, walking meditation, and more. We’ll also be using worksheets to track moods and thoughts and set up a system to prevent difficult moods from getting worse. This course is designed to set you up for success so that after 8 weeks you feel confident in your ability to keep up a daily mindfulness practice.

Time: Mondays 5:30 PM EST

Investment: $75/session self-pay OR we also work directly with colleges and universities throughout the five boroughs and are preferred, in-network providers for Sarah Lawrence, School of Visual Arts, New York University and Columbia University.
