Yes our classes close 5 minutes prior to the start of class.
How far in advance can I register for a class?
At this time you can register for classes two weeks ahead of time.
Do I need to keep my video on during class?
This is entirely up to you! Instructors rely on students keeping video on to give direct feedback and support, but your comfort is most important. Additionally, you will have access to chat directly with your instructor during class if something comes up that you need help with.
What props do I need for movement classes?
A yoga mat is helpful for classes that include a lot of movement.
A clean spot on the floor on a rug or blanket will work for classes that will require space to lie down.
Yoga blocks and bolsters are helpful but not necessary.
For classes that require lying down, you may wish to have a couple of folded blankets and a few pillows from your bed or couch nearby.
Don’t forget to keep some water nearby!
What should I wear?
For more movement based classes, wear something light and comfortable. For classes that require less movement, wear comfortable layers and socks. If you are joining an art-making or other class that requires materials, you will be notified of what to bring in advance.
Can I eat right before class?
We recommend not eating anything for an hour to two hours before movement classes, but of course if needed you can have a small snack. It can be uncomfortable to move and practice deep breathing when your body is in the process of digesting.
I’m a beginner and have never practiced before. Where should I start?
Unless specifically suggested as being advanced level, all of our classes are intended to be inclusive to all levels of participation.
