Kaitie’s Approach
Kaitie's approach to therapy is integrative, holistic, and trauma-informed, grounded in the understanding that healing involves the whole person. Rather than focusing only on changing thoughts, she helps clients reconnect with their emotions, relationships, nervous system, and inner strengths.
She integrates evidence-based and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, relational therapy, attachment-based therapy, and somatic approaches. Her work is also informed by mindfulness, breathwork, meditation, and other Eastern healing practices that support the connection between mind, body, and spirit.
The therapeutic relationship serves as the foundation of Kaitie's work. She strives to build trust through acceptance, collaboration, and genuine attunement so clients feel safe exploring even their most vulnerable thoughts, emotions, and experiences. While compassionate and supportive, she also gently encourages clients to move beyond familiar patterns and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others.
Together, you will explore how early family dynamics, attachment patterns, trauma, and core beliefs continue to shape your present experiences. Alongside this deeper therapeutic work, Kaitie provides practical tools and coping strategies to help you manage anxiety, improve emotional regulation, build resilience, and create lasting change.
Rituals: meditation, journaling, reiki, yoga, running
